Aist restaurant is another upscale venue in our Moscow dining recommendations list.
This place is managed by the Novikov Group and includes three levels.
The first one has a lounge area with the comfortable couches. On weekend evenings they invite DJs that spin nice house music there creating the pre-party atmosphere.
The second floor looks more like other Moscow restaurants of similar class with the kitchen actually made visible to the guests and the music can hardly be heard there.
The roof of the restaurant building has a large verandah which overlooks the streets of the old Moscow. This summer verandah is actually one of my favorite ones in the whole Moscow.
